Midwest Conference Championships at Rockford, Illinois (May 9-10, 2003)
Lawrence's Joe Loehnis birdied both of the first two playoff holes to beat Knox's Mack Foster for the individual championship. This is the second consecutive season Lawrence has won the individual title after Jeff Henderson won in 2002. That is the first time Lawrence has won two straight individual crowns since Carl Lauman in 1948 and Don Strutz in 1949.
Lawrence finished second, its highest finish in the team standings since taking second in 1954, with a team score of 616. Knox won the title with a score of 609.
