Augustana College Twilight Meet (May 19-20)

James Hahn broke Lawrence University's record in the decathlon. Hahn finished with 5,331 points, breaking Sam Buckett's 2002 record of 5,295. Hahn took third in the 100 meters (11.85 seconds), second in the long jump (19-9), third in the shot put (34-1.5), fifth in the high jump (5-1), fourth in the 400 (53.50), third in the 110 hurdles (17.24), fourth in the discus (92-8), third in the pole vault (10-6), fifth in the javelin (136-5), and third in the 1,500 (4:59.41).

Midwest Conference Championships (May 13-14)

The Lawrence men posted their highest finish at the conference championships since 1986 by taking fourth place. The Lawrence women were ninth.

Lawrence had numerous standout performances on the men's side. Kolade Agbaje-Williams paced Lawrence by placing in four events, and James Hahn placed in three. Agbaje-Williams was second in the long jump (22-1), fourth in the triple jump (44-4), fifth in the high jump (5-8.5), and eighth in the 400 meters (52.22 seconds). Hahn took third in the 110-meter hurdles (16.27 seconds), second in the 400 hurdles (56.09), and sixth in the triple jump (42-7.5).

Other top performances on the men's side included: Phil Keith (fourth, 3,000 steeplechase), 400 relay (third), Chris McFarlane (fifth, 100), Kyle Hewitt (sixth, 800), David Quinlan (seventh, 800), Steve Geisthardt (third, 400 hurdles), Mitch Goodman (eighth, 5,000; seventh, 10,000), 1,600 relay (fifth). Aaron Guigar (eighth, pole vault), and Nate Semenak (fifth, triple jump).

Colleen Detjens paced the Lawrence women by taking third in the 1,500 (4:52.41) and fourth in the 800 (2:22.50).

University of Wisconsin Twilight Meet (May 7)

The Lawrence men's team broke the school record in the 400-meter relay. The team of Adrell Bullock, Kolade Agbaje-Williams, Nate Semenak, and Chris McFarlane ran a record time of 43.38 seconds. It broke the mark of 43.56 set back in 1986.

Wisconsin Private College Championships at Ripon College (April 30)

The Lawrence men placed second among the 10 teams with 107.5 points, and the Lawrence women were eighth in a field of nine with 27 points. James Hahn paced the Vikings by winning the 400-meter hurdles in 56.87 seconds, and he took third in the 110 hurdles in 16.80 seconds. Kolade Agbaje-Williams took second in the long jump (21 feet, 0.5 inches), second in the triple jump (41-8.5), third in the 400 (51.56), and fifth in the high jump (5-6). Colleen Detjens led the Lawrence women by taking third in the 800 meters (4:57.34) and 1,500 meters (2:25.75).

Other top performances for Lawrence included: Steve Geisthardt (fourth, 110 hurdles; sixth, 400), Steven Addo-Yobo (fifth, 100), Phil Keith (third, 3,000 steeplechase), David Quinlan (sixth, 800; sixth, 1,500), Cate Frazier (sixth, 1,500), Kyle Hewitt (fifth, 800), Nate Semenak (third, triple jump), Stephanie Kramer (sixth, discus), Stephanie Kliethermes (sixth, triple jump), and Mitch Goodman (fourth, 5,000; third, 10,000).

Elmhurst College Invitational (April 16)

The Lawrence men placed seventh in the team standings in a field of 21. The Vikings were paced by James Hahn, who took fifth in the 110-meter hurdles in 17.08 seconds and sixth in the 400 hurdles in 59.00 seconds. The Lawrence women also took seventh among the 17 teams. Colleen Detjens ran to victory in the 1,500 meters in 4:53.13 and took fifth in the 800 in 2:26.94.

Ripon College Open (April 3)

James Hahn led the Lawrence men by taking first in the 400-meter hurdles and second in the 110 hurdles. Other top finishers for the Viking men were Steve Geisthardt (second, 400 hurdles, third, 110 hurdles), Mitch Goodman (second, 10,000), Kyle Hewitt (second, 800), Nate Semenak (second, triple jump), and Chris Kliethermes (third, javelin).

Stephanie Kramer paced the Lawrence women by placing second in the discus and sixth in the shot put. Stephanie Kliethermes grabbed second in the long jump.
