Sarah Slivinski turned in a stellar performance at the Emory University Classic.
The senior from Eagle River placed in three events and helped the Lawrence University women to a 15th-place finish among the 24 teams, which included Division I and II schools.

Slivinski won the 400-meter hurdles in 1 minute, 6.36 seconds, narrowly missing her own school record. She also took fifth in the triple jump with a distance of 34 feet, .75 inches, and was eighth in the long jump with a leap of 15-8.75.

Fabrice Munyakazi-Juru
Men's Tennis

Fabrice Munyakazi-Juru posted a 2-0 singles record and split a pair of doubles matches during the past week.

Playing No. 2 singles, Munyakazi-Juru downed Beloit College's Aashay Deshmukh 6-4, 1-6, 6-0, and beat Ripon College's Adam Bruno 0-6, 6-4, 10-5.

He teamed with Jai Arora at No. 1 doubles to beat Beloit's Arune Brekke and Dan Miller-Sanchez 8-0. The Lawrence duo fell to Ripon's Jared Goerlitz and Bruno 9-8 (7-4 in the tiebreaker).

For his efforts, Munyakazi-Juru was named the Midwest Conference Performer of the Week.
