Men's Swimming
David Danenhower led the Lawrence men at the Illinois Wesleyan University Invitational this past Saturday. He won the 100-yard freestyle in 49.80 seconds and was named the Midwest Conference Swimmer of the Week. Danenhower, a native of Urbana, Ill., also took seventh in the 200 individual medley in 2:08.20 and was eighth in the 100 breaststroke in 1:04.77. He also swam on Lawrence's fifth-place 200 medley relay team.
Jodie Primus
Women's Swimming
Jodie Primus placed in three events and swam on a relay team that placed to lead the Lawrence women at the Illinois Wesleyan University Invitational this past Saturday. Primus, a senior from Madison, took third in the 200-yard individual medley in 2:21.01, placed sixth in the 100 breaststroke in 1:14.81, and was ninth in the 500 freestyle in 5:48.38. She also swam on the 200 freestyle relay team that took sixth.
