Kolade Agbaje-Williams won one event and finished third in another to lead Lawrence University against a tough field featuring most of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference at the UW-Oshkosh Invitational this past Saturday. The junior from Evergreen Park, Ill., won the long jump with a leap of 21 feet, 8 inches. The former star at Evergreen Park High School owns the longest jump in the league thus far this season. Agbaje-Williams also placed third in the triple jump at 42-8.
Ben Dictus

Lawrence University's Ben Dictus won the championship at 184 pounds at this past Sunday's Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships, which were held at Alexander Gymnasium. By winning the title, Dictus earned a trip to the NCAA Division III Championships for a second consecutive season. Dictus, a junior from Kimberly, defeated Al Stacilauskus of UW-Stevens Point 5-3 in overtime in the championship match. Dictus trailed 3-1 until he scored a reversal in the final seconds of the third period to force overtime. Dictus' takedown in overtime won the match. Dictus started the day with a 15-0 technical fall over Mike Stremer of UW-Eau Claire in the quarterfinals. He then defeated Josh Zabel of UW-La Crosse 3-2 in the semifinals.
