Lawrence University catcher Loni Philbrick-Linzmeyer led the Vikings to a 5-3 record during the week, as Lawrence took control of the North Division of the Midwest Conference. The junior from Green Bay batted .478 (11-for-23) for the week with a double, a triple and six runs batted in. Philbrick-Linzmeyer had a huge doubleheader against Lakeland College, going 5-for-7 with five RBIs. Lawrence went 3-1 in games vs. Midwest Conference opponents during the week, and that included a doubleheader sweep of St. Norbert College. The three wins allowed Lawrence to move into a first-place tie atop the North Division standings.

Andrew Wong
Baseball

Andrew Wong had a big week offensively for Lawrence University.The junior shortstop from Wauwatosa batted a healthy .542 in six games. Wong went 13-for-24 with four doubles, a triple and seven runs batted in. He also was successful on both of his stolen base attempts. Wong had his biggest game of the week in the finale of a four-game set with Beloit College. In Lawrenceís 9-8 victory, Wong went 5-for-6 with two doubles, a triple, two runs scored and four RBIs. On the season, Wong leads the Midwest Conference in hitting at .461.
