Ryan Kroeger played a huge role as Lawrence University won its third consecutive Midwest Conference Tournament championship. A freshman guard from Glendale, Kroeger averaged 16 points and hit on 69.2 percent of his shots from the floor, including 66.7 percent from 3-point range. In an 88-62 tournament semifinal victory Knox College, Kroeger scored 18 points and was 6 of 8 from the floor, including 3 of 5 from beyond the arc. The former Nicolet High School star then scored 14 points in Lawrence's 68-62 win over Carroll College in the championship game. He hit 3 of 5 shots from the field, including 3 of 4 from 3-point range.
