Russell Geisthardt
Track and Field
Russell Geisthardt won one event and ran on a relay team that placed for Lawrence University at the Ripon College Invitational on April 1. Geisthardt, a native of Bloomer and former standout at Bloomer High School, won the 800 meters with a time of 2 minutes, 1.40 seconds. Geisthardt led a 1-2 Lawrence sweep in that event, as teammate David Quinlan placed second. Geistardt, a sophomore, also ran on Lawrence's 1,600-meter relay team that placed eighth.
James Hahn
Track and Field
James Hahn won one event and ran on a relay team that placed for Lawrence University at the Ripon College Invitational on April 1. Hahn, a senior from Madison, won the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 57.90 seconds. Hahn, a former star at Madison Memorial High School, won the event by almost two seconds. Hahn also ran on Lawrence's 400-meter relay team that placed fifth with a time of 44.83 seconds.
Fabrice Munyakazi-Juru
Men's Tennis
Fabrice Munyakazi-Juru had a perfect week for Lawrence University. He went 3-0 in singles and doubles as the Vikings won two of three dual matches. Munyakazi-Juru, a senior from Kigali, Rwanda, beat Illinois College's Brad Lanius 2-6, 6-4, 10-1, at No. 1 singles as part of Lawrence's 6-1 win over the Blueboys. He teamed with Dan Hertel to beat Lanius and Tom Arnolts 8-6 at No. 1 doubles. In Lawrence's 5-2 loss to Monmouth College, Munyakai-Juru beat Brandon Stacey 6-4, 6-2, at No. 1 singles. He and Hertel beat Stacey and Jared Kunkle 8-1 at No. 1 doubles. Munyakazi-Juru wrapped up his week by beating Knox College's Nick Craig 6-1, 6-1, at No. 1 singles. He and Hertel beat Craig and Josh Moten 8-2 at No. 1 doubles, and the Vikings went on to beat the Praire Fire 5-2.
