Toren Johnson
Softball

Toren Johnson batted .400 for the week and smacked the first two home runs of her college career. The junior outfielder from Stoughton was 8-for-20 with three doubles, two homers, nine runs scored, and seven RBIs on the week for an .850 slugging percentage. In Lawrence's doubleheader split at St. Norbert, she went 5-for-8 with six runs scored and four RBIs. She belted a two-run homer in the opener and a hit a solo shot in the nightcap.

Joe Loehnis
Golf

Joe Loehnis won one event and placed second in another this past weekend. The senior from Appleton was chosen as the Midwest Conference Golfer of the Week for the second time in three weeks. Loehnis carded a 5-over par 76 at Glen Erin Golf Club and won a playoff for the title at the Beloit Classic. He led Lawrence to a team score of 326 and the tournament championship. He followed that with an even-par 72 at the Broadlands Golf Club and took second place. Lawrence carded a team score of 304 and finished third.

Loni Philbrick-Linzmeyer
Softball

Loni Philbrick-Linzmeyer batted .467 for the week and drove in 10 runs in six games. The senior catcher from Green Bay, who was named the Midwest Conference Player of the Week, led Lawrence to a 3-3 record on the week and set a pair of school records in the process. The former standout at Green Bay East High School went 7-for-15 with a double, a homer and 10 RBIs. Philbrick-Linzmeyer, who also drew five walks, compiled a .591 on-base percentage and .733 slugging percentage. Her week was highlighted by going 3-for-6 with four RBIs in a doubleheader sweep of MSOE and then going 4-for-6 with five RBIs in a doubleheader split at St. Norbert. With the five runs Philbrick-Linzmeyer drove in during the St. Norbert doubleheader, she moved past Lisa Bryfczynski into first place on Lawrence's career RBI list. She now has 91 for her career, eclipsing the mark of 87 set by Bryfczynski from 1996-99. She also tied the season doubles record of 12 set by Katy Decker in 1992.
