Marshall McGhee
Football

Marshall McGhee intercepted a pair of passes against Grinnell College to help spark Lawrence University to a 27-19 victory over the Pioneers. McGhee, a freshman cornerback from Milwaukee, intercepted a Sean Pfalzer pass in the second quarter and returned it 16 yards to the Grinnell 40-yard line. That helped set up a touchdown that gave Lawrence a 14-7 lead. McGhee, a former standout at Milwaukee University School, then intercepted a pass late in the third quarter with Grinnell leading 19-14. McGhee, who finished the game with one tackle, now has three interceptions on the season. He is the first player since Jason Holinbeck in 2001 to intercept two passes in a game for the Vikings.

The former star at Wauwatosa West High School then scored in the 49th minute at Monmouth to break a 1-1 tie. That goal also proved to be the game-winner in a 3-1 win over the Scots. Pikna now has six goals and 15 points on the season.
