Bryan Althouse
Football
Bryan Althouse kicked a school-record four field goals and connected on all five of his PAT attempts in Lawrence's 47-7 win over Illinois College. The sophomore from Madison made field goals of 37, 32, 27, and 21 yards. He broke the record of three field goals in a game held by Kraig Krueger, Jeff Reitz, and Gary Hietpas. Althouse, a former standout at Madison West High School, finished the season 6 of 8 on field goals and the 37-yarder was the longest of his career. Althouse was chosen as the Midwest Conference Special Teams Player of the Week and was chosen as a Don Hansen's Football Gazette National Player of the Week.
Patrick McCrory

Patrick McCrory won three events to pace the Lawrence University men's swim team to a 179-91 win over Monmouth College in a dual meet. The freshman from Racine won the 100-yard backstroke in 56.35 seconds, won the 50 freestyle in 22.89 and took the 100 butterfly in 55.64. A fomer standout at Racine Park High Schoool, McCrory also swam on the winning 200 medley relay team, which had a time of 1:43.16. McCrory was chosen as the Midwest Conference Swimmer of the Week.
Heather Prochnow

Heather Prochnow won three events and swam on a winning relay team, as the Lawrence University women's swim team beat Monmouth College 172.5-113.5 in a dual meet. The native of Warrenville, Ill., won the 50-yard freestyle in 26.34 seconds, won the 100 freestyle in 57.42 and won the 100 butterfly in 1:05.42. Prochnow, who starred at West Chicago High School, swam on the winning 200 freestyle relay team, which had a time of 1:49.35.
