Andrew Isaac
Hockey

Andrew Isaac picked up a pair of wins between the pipes against St. Olaf and was named the Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association Defensive Player of the Week. Isaac, a senior from Mississauga, Ontario, saac, a senior goaltender from Mississauga, Ontario, was between the pipes for both of Lawrence's victories over St. Olaf. Isaac stopped 34 of 35 shots in a 2-1 overtime victory on Jan. 5 and then made 29 saves in a 4-3 win on Jan. 6. On the weekend, he made 63 saves and recorded a .940 save percentage. Isaac improved his season record to 3-3-0 and lowered his goals against average to 3.47 and raised his save percentage to .901.

Joe Searl
Hockey

Joe Searl scored a pair of goals in a 45-second span and lifted Lawrence to a 2-1 overtime win over St. Olaf in the opener of a weekend series on Jan. 5. A senior forward from Fond du Lac, Wis., Searl provided all of Lawrence's offense in the win over the Oles. He scored a goal with just 36 seconds left in regulation to tie the game at 1-1 and force the extra period. Searl then intercepted a pass in front of the St. Olaf net and scored just nine seconds into overtime to give the Vikings a 2-1 victory. Searl, who has nine goals and six assists for 15 points this season, also picked up assist on Josh Peterson's goal in Lawrence's 4-3 win over the Oles the following afternoon. Searl was named the Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association Player of the Week for the second time this season and the third time in his career.

Jenny Stoner
Women's Basketball

Jenny Stoner scored a season-high 18 points, one shy of her career high, to lead Lawrence to a 63-52 win at Ripon on Jan. 6. The junior guard from Chicago, Ill., grabbed four rebounds, handed out six assists, and picked up a pair of steals. She hit 4 of 7 shots from the floor, including 2 of 4 from 3-point range, and was 8 of 11 from the foul line in 39 minutes of action.
