Men's Swimming
Taylor Brengel won the 200-yard backstroke and swam the opening leg of a winning relay in Lawrence's dual meet against UW-Whitewater on Jan. 13. The sophomore from Milwaukee, Wis., won the 200 backstroke in a time of 2:05.12, the best in the conference this season. He also swam the first leg of the 400 freestyle relay, which posted a winning time of 3:31.08.
Marissa Vallette
Women's Swimming
Marissa Vallette won both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving to help Lawrence defeat UW-Whitewater in a dual match on Jan. 13. A junior from Naperville, Ill., Vallette won the six-dive competition on the 1-meter board with a score of 214.20. On the 3-meter board, she posted a winning score of 201.25. Both scores rank as the third-best in the league this season. Lawrence defeated the Warhawks 145-95 in the team competition.
