     Marc Howe scored three times in two games to lead Lawrence to a series victory over Minnesota-Crookston in the quarterfinals of the MCHA playoffs. Howe, a freshman forward from Cedarburg, Wis., scored twice in Lawrence's 5-3 win over Crookston in the playoff opener on Feb. 23. He scored an even-strength goal early in the second period and then added what proved to be the game-winning goal late in the second period. He also had an assist on Nick Jennette's power-play goal in the second period. Howe then picked up a power-play goal in Lawrence's 2-2 tie with Crookston on Feb. 24. On the season, Howe has 15 goals and 10 assists for 25 points.
