Tatiana Bulat won the first individual Midwest Conference track title for Lawrence since 2004 when she captured the triple jump at the league championships on May 10-11. The sophomore from Madison, Wis., won the event with a leap of 34 feet, 11.75 inches, to edge the second-place finisher by 1.25 inches. She also placed eighth in the 100-meter hurdles in 17.01 seconds. Bulat also took ninth in the long jump and 12th in the high jump.

Track and Field
David Quinlan collected a pair of top-six finishes at the Midwest Conference Championships on May 10-11. The senior from Appleton, Wis., grabbed fourth in the 800 meters in 1:58.61 and also took sixth in the 1,500 in 4:10.54.
