Women's Soccer
Alison Blegen scored a pair of goals, including the game-winner, in Lawrence's 4-2 win over Marian College last Friday. The sophomore midfielder from Whitefish Bay, Wis., took a pass from Mindy Luber in the 31st minute and beat Marian goalkeeper Sarah Schmehil to tie the game at 1-1. She then scored on a penalty kick in the 41st minute to give Lawrence a 3-1 edge. Blegen, who scored only one goal all of last season, took six of Lawrence's 39 shots in the match.
Alicia Onisawa
Volleyball
Alicia Onisawa was named to the all-tournament team at the Wisconsin Lutheran College Invitational this past weekend. The senior middle hitter from Tampa, Fla., totaled 55 kills in four matches, with a .352 hitting percentage. She also picked up 23 blocks, including 10 solos, nine aces and nine digs. She had 15 kills in Lawrence victories over North Park and North Central (Minn.). Lawrence went 2-2 at the tourney.
