Andy Frelich
Baseball
Andy Frelich earned the first victory of his career when he beat Lakeland on April 8 and was named the Midwest Conference Pitcher of the Week. A native of Maribel, Wis., Frelich went the distance in Lawrence's 7-3 nonconference victory. The sophomore right-hander allowed three earned runs on seven hits, walked four and struck out five.
Robert Rashid
Baseball
Robert Rashid helped break open the game during Lawrence's 7-3 nonconference win over Lakeland on April 8. Lawrence did not manage a hit in the first three innings against the Muskies, but a seven-run fourth was highlighted by the Rashid's bases-loaded, two-out triple that brought home three runs and gave Lawrence a 4-0 lead. The freshman outfielder from Evanston, Ill., came around to score when Doug McEneaney drove him in with a single.
