Matt Frelich
Football

Matt Frelich broke two school records in Lawrence's game at Ripon on Nov. 3. The sophomore defensive end from Maribel, Wis., blocked a pair of kicks, a field goal and an extra point. Frelich now has four blocked kicks this season, which breaks the record of three held by four players. Frelich now has five blocked kicks for his career, which also breaks the school record of four, which was held by three players. Frelich also had eight tackles, including three for loss, against the Red Hawks.

Nick Jennette
Hockey

Nick Jennette was named the Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association Player of the Week after he scored the game-winning goal against the Milwaukee School of Engineering on Nov. 2. The junior from Grand Rapids, Mich., scored a pair of goals in the 6-5 win over the Raiders. Jennette scored in the second period to cut MSOE's lead to 5-2, and then assisted on a goal in the third period that cut the lead to 5-4. With the Vikings on the power play, Jennette scored with eight seconds left to give Lawrence the 6-5 victory.

Josh Peterson
Hockey

Josh Peterson was named the Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association Defensive Player of the Week after he tied a conference record in Lawrence's win over the Milwaukee School of Engineering on Nov. 2. A senior defenseman from Duluth, Minn., Peterson had four assists, which tied the record for assists by a defenseman in a game. He assisted on Lawrence's first three goals of the game and on the game-tying goal as well. Peterson is Lawrence's career leader in assists by a defenseman.
