Ebert had team season highs for carries and yards in Lawrence's 37-30 loss at Macalester. The junior running back/slotback from New London, Wis., carried 26 times for 150 yards, a 5.8-yard per carry average, and scored a touchdown. He also caught two passes for seven yards. Ebert's day is the biggest for a Lawrence running back since the final game of the 2004 season, when Adrell Bullock ran 19 times for 173 yards in a win against Macalester. Ebert was chosen as the Midwest Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

Kevin Penza
Football

Kevin Penza had his fifth double-digit tackle day of season in Lawrence's 37-30 loss at Macalester on Nov. 10. The sophomore linebacker from Green Bay, Wis., finished with 11 tackles, two shy of his high for the season, had one tackle for loss, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery. Penza finished the season with a team-high 90 tackles, including 12 tackles for loss. Penza was named the Midwest Conference Defensive Player of the Week.
