Evan Johnson was named the Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association Player of the Week after a standout performance in a 1-1 overtime tie with Lake Forest on Nov. 24. The freshman goaltender from Suwanee, Ga., made 31 saves, including stopping the final 22 shots by the Foresters. Johnson also picked up his first career assist on Marc Howe's goal in the opening period.

Women's Basketball
Carrie Van Groll earned Midwest Conference Player of the Week honors after leading flirting with a triple-double in Lawrence's 72-57 win over Marian on Nov. 20. The senior guard from Little Chute, Wis., hit 6 of 9 shots from the floor on her way to a game-high 17 points. She added eight rebounds, seven assists, and two steals.
