Caleb Ray posted a 4-0 record on the week and was named the Midwest Conference Player of the Week. Ray, a freshman from Austin, Texas, rallied from a 5-0 deficit in the first set against Austin Sveom of Concordia (Wis.) on March 7 to win 7-6 (7-3), 6-4, at No. 4 singles. Ray teamed with Travis Fondow to beat Brian Tresedder and Juliano Becker 8-4 at No. 2 doubles. Lawrence won the match 6-3. In a 9-0 sweep of Marian on March 7, Ray downed Jory Lawson 6-3, 6-2, at No. 1 singles. Ray and Fondow beat Lucas Nieman and Kyle Ohland 8-2 at No. 1 doubles.
