Beth Larson has yet to taste defeat in a collegiate match, as she is a perfect 4-0 in her rookie season in singles and doubles. Playing No. 1 singles and doubles, the freshman from Maplewood, Minn., is unbeaten in both and has yet to drop a set. She recorded straight-set victories over Knox's Megan Funk, UW-River Falls' Kathryne Ostrowski, Edgewood's Kelsey Steinhorst and Lake Forest's Nonie Carlson. Larson also teamed with Lisa Ritland at No. 1 doubles for four consecutive victories in which the duo's closest margin of victory was an 8-4 win.

Lisa Ritland started her season in perfect fashion, going 3-0 at No. 3 singles and 4-0 at No. 1 doubles with partner Beth Larson. The senior from Lodi, Wis., beat UW-River Falls' Katie Lynn Anderson, Edgewood's Lizzie Starck, and Lake Forest's Molly Stapleton in singles. Ritland and Larson dominated in doubles, with no opponent winning more than four games in the eight-game pro sets.
