Ben DiMarco was named the Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association Freshman of the Week after lifting the Vikings to a big win on Nov. 15. DiMarco, a forward from Galveston, Texas, gave the Vikings a 1-0 victory over the Milwaukee School of Engineering when he scored with eight seconds left in regulation. DiMarco's first collegiate goal came when he picked off a MSOE turnover in the neutral zone, zoomed away from the defense, and beat MSOE goaltender Connor Toomey. DiMarco also had an assist in Lawrence's 2-1 loss at MSOE on Nov. 14.
Craig Ebert
Football
Craig Ebert ran for more than 100 yards for the fifth time in six games to lead Lawrence to a 21-13 nonconference victory over Minnesota-Morris on Nov. 15. Ebert, who led the Midwest Conference in rushing yards per game and was named the league's Offensive Player of the Week, had 22 carries for 123 yards. Ebert, a senior from New London, Wis., also caught four passes for 49 yards and a touchdown. His 18-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter gave Lawrence a lead it would not relinquish all afternoon.
Mike Gostisha

Mike Gostisha piled up a game-high 10 tackles, including four tackles for loss and a sack, to lead Lawrence to a 21-13 nonconference win over Minnesota-Morris on Nov. 15. Gostisha's 10 tackles was a season high and tied his career high. Gostisha, a junior from Appleton, Wis., who was named the Midwest Conference Defensive Player of the Week, recorded a key sack to snuff out a Morris drive in Lawrence territory midway through the fourth quarter with the Vikings holding an eight-point lead.
Kelsey Gray
Swimming
Kelsey Gray won two events to pace the Lawrence women in a dual meet against UW-Whitewater on Nov. 15. A sophomore from West Lafayette, Ind., Gray won the 1,650-yard freestyle in 20:02.56 and took the top spot in the 200 backstroke in 2:24.88.
