Jameson Raymond helped Lawrence to a pair of victories over Finlandia and was named the Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association Defensive Player of the Week. The junior defenseman scored two goals, including the game-winner, in Lawrence's 5-3 victory over the Lions on Jan. 14. Raymond was a plus-4 on the weekend, which included a 3-2 win over Finlandia on Jan. 15.Raymond scored midway through the first period in the first game to stake Lawrence to a 2-0 lead and then scored just 42 seconds into the third period to put the Vikings up 4-0. Both of his goals came on the power play.
Rose Tepper
Track and Field
Rose Tepper grabbed first in the high jump and competed in the long jump at the UW-Stevens Point Open on Jan. 15. The sophomore from Mount Vernon, Iowa, won the long jump with a leap of 5 feet, 1.25 inches. She also placed ninth in the long jump with a distance of 12-3.75.
