Sam Stevens turned a great performance in his first ever attempt in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. The sophomore from Suamico, Wis., finished in second place in the steeplechase in a time of 9:44.31 at the Carroll Invitational on April 9. Stevens was less than three seconds behind the winner, who is the defending Midwest Conference champion in the event.
Anne Sullivan
Track and Field
Anne Sullivan led Lawrence with a second-place finish at the Carroll Invitational on April 9. Sullivan, a senior from Whitefish Bay, Wis., posted her best collegiate finish by grabbing second in the 5,000 meters in a time of 19:54.74.
