Carli Gurholt
Softball

Carli Gurholt hit .444 for the week as Lawrence split four games. The senior shortstop from Scandinavia, Wis., went 4-for-9 and two of those hits were home runs. Gurholt, who had six runs batted in during the four games, hit a two-run homer in the opening game of Lawrence's doubleheader sweep of North Central (Minn.) on April 13. She also blasted a grand slam in Lawrence's loss at the University of Chicago on April 17 and had a 1.111 slugging percentage for the week. Teams continued to pitch around Gurholt, who walked five times in the four games and had a .643 on-base percentage.

Sam Stevens
Track and Field

Sam Stevens won the 800 meters to lead Lawrence at the Wisconsin Lutheran Relays on April 17. The sophomore from Suamico, Wis., won the event in 1:58.78, which is the sixth-fastest time in the conference this season, in difficult weather conditions.

Rose Tepper
Track and Field

Rose Tepper won the high jump to pace Lawrence at the Wisconsin Lutheran Relays on April 17. The sophomore from Mount Vernon, Iowa, won the event with a jump of 5 feet, 4.25 inches, which is the best performance in the Midwest Conference this season.
