David Zane raced to first place in the 10,000 meters at the UW-Oshkosh Invitational on April 22. The senior from San Rafael, Calif., posted a winning time of 33:24.45 while running in cold, rainy and windy conditions at Titan Stadium. Zane's time was 90 seconds faster than the second-place finisher. Led by Zane, Lawrence finished fifth in the team standings.
