Jason Dunn
Men's Tennis

Jason Dunn posted a perfect 6-0 record on the week at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles and was named the Midwest Conference Player of the Week. The sophomore from Fond du Lac, Wis., started his week with a 6-4, 6-4 win against Illinois College and teamed with Max Zlevor for an 8-1 win in doubles. The Vikings defeated the Blueboys 9-0. In a 9-0 win over Ripon, Dunn had a 6-3, 6-2 victory in singles and an 8-2 victory in doubles. In a 5-4 loss to St. Norbert, Dunn won 6-3, 7-6 (7-0) in singles and had an 8-5 victory in doubles.

John Pechan
Golf

John Pechan placed second in the Midwest Conference Championships at Aldeen Golf Club in Rockford, Ill. The freshman from Bothell, Wash., fired rounds of 82, 75 and 78 for a 54-hole total of 235. Carroll's Eric Busalacchi won the title with a score of 232. Pechan's finish earned him all-conference honors and it was the highest finish by a Lawrence golfer since Joe Loehnis tied for first and lost in a playoff for the title back in 2006.

Emily Perish
Softball

Emily Perish was 2-0 on the week with a 1.20 earned run average and carried a no-hitter into the sixth inning of the one of the victories. The junior from Frankfort, Ill., tossed all eight innings in Lawrence's 3-2 victory over Carroll May 1. Perish, who took a no-hitter into the sixth inning, allowed only four hits, struck out four and walked one. She also came on in relief in Lawrence's 4-3 victory over St. Norbert on April 27. She tossed 3.2 innings of scoreless relief in the victory. For the week, Perish pitched 11.2 innings, allowed eight hits, struck out four and walked one. Opponents hit only .195 against her.
