Mallory Koula
Women's Soccer

Mallory Koula picked up her first hat trick of the season and the fourth of her career in Lawrence's 7-0 win over Beloit to open Midwest Conference play on Sept. 11. The junior forward from Kimberly, Wis., scored in the fourth and 23rd minutes, both off assists by Sarah Ehlinger, to stake the Vikings to a 2-0 lead. She then completed the hat trick in the 73rd minute when she scored off a pass from Cadence Peckham. Koula leads the team with four goals on the season.

Steven Solomon
Men's Soccer

Steven Solomon posted his second shutout of the season and allowed only one goal as Lawrence went 2-0 on the week. In Lawrence’s 1-0 victory over MSOE on Sept. 8, the freshman goalkeeper from Fort Collins, Colo., made five saves to record the shutout. In a 2-1 victory over Beloit to open Midwest Conference play on Sept. 11, Solomon, who was named the Midwest Conference Defensive Player of the Week, made nine saves. For the week, he posted a .933 save percentage and 0.50 goals against average.

Robbie Ulloa
Football

Robbie Ulloa scored his first career touchdown and led the Lawrence defense in the Vikings' 33-12 victory over Knox on Sept. 11. The junior safety from Burlington, Wis., had a game-high eight tackles, including 2.5 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks. Ulloa, who was named the Midwest Conference Defensive Player of the Week, also had two fumble recoveries and forced a fumble. Ulloa scored his first career touchdown early in the game when he scooped up a fumble by the Knox quarterback and raced 66 yards for the score. He later forced a fumble by the Knox quarterback deep in Lawrence territory and recovered that fumble to stop another Prairie Fire drive.
