Women's Tennis

Beth Larson went 4-2 on the week and broke Lawrence's career singles wins record in the process. The senior from Maplewood, Minn., now has 67 victories for her career to break the record of Anita Salzberger, who won 66 matches from 1987-90. Larson picked up the record-setting win with a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Edgewood's Shae Beckwith. Larson also earned wins against SUNY-New Paltz, Bethel and Whitworth on Lawrence's spring break trip to Florida. Larson also teamed with Christina Schaupp and Carla Schmidt to go 5-1 at No. 1 doubles during the week.

Caleb Ray
Men's Tennis

Caleb Ray posted a 5-1 record in singles and a 3-3 mark in doubles during Lawrence's week of spring break competitions. Playing No. 3 singles, the senior from Austin, Texas picked up wins against CUNY-Staten Island, Birmingham Southern, North Central, Bethel and Edgewood. The win against Edgewood's Edwin Mendoza was an impressive 6-0, 6-0 victory. Ray teamed with Craig Sherwood to earn doubles victories against Staten Island, Behtel and Edgewood. Ray improved to 8-7 on the season.
