Swimming
Hayley Cardinal won one event and placed third in another to pace Lawrence at the Lake Forest Double Dual on Jan. 19. A freshman from Lombard, Ill., Cardinal took first in the 100-meter breaststroke in 1:18.81. She also placed third in the 200 individual medley in 2:45.53. Cardinal also swam on the 200 medley relay team, which placed third.
Chris Siebert
Men's Basketball
Chris Siebert led Lawrence in scoring on the week as the Vikings split a pair of games. In an 83-58 loss to Ripon on Jan. 15, the junior from Baraboo, Wis., scored 20 points and handed out four assists. In a 72-43 blowout at Knox on Jan. 19, Siebert scored 10 points, handed out six assists and grabbed three rebounds. For the week, Siebert averaged 15 points, five assists and two rebounds per game.
