A solid and steady performer since being elevated to varsity status in 1982, the women's soccer program has been one of the top teams in the Midwest Conference over the past decade. Lawrence captured the Midwest Conference championship in 2000 and won MWC Tournament titles in 2000, 2001 and 2010. The Vikings played in the NCAA Division III Tournament in 2000, 2001, 2010 and 2011, and Lawrence was the first MWC team ever to win a NCAA Tournament game. The Vikings play a schedule against conference opponents as well as teams from outside the conference, including top-level Division III opponents. The season culminates with a four-team conference tournament held in early November.
