Lisa Sammons has served as the associate head women’s soccer coach since the 2007 season and has returned the Vikings to the status of contenders in the Midwest Conference.

Sammons coached the Vikings to the 2010 Midwest Conference Tournament championship and a berth in the NCAA Division III Tournament. Under Sammons' guidance, Lawrence earned berths in the four-team league tournament in both 2009 and 2010.

Sammons, who earned a bachelor's degree in nutrition, exercise, and physiology from the University of Minnesota in 1993, brought a great deal of prep and youth coaching experience to Lawrence.

Sammons, who has a national "C" license from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, has been the head girls' varsity coach at Kaukauna High School and coached the Under-14 girls' Wayzata Select team, the Under-15 girls' Olympic Development Program team, the Under-12 girls' Oshkosh United Classic team, and the N.E.W. United 93 Boys' Premier team.

Sammons also has served as a professional clinician at the Eagan Soccer Camps and the Alan Merrick Soccer Camps.

Sammons and her husband, Mike, live in Appleton and have four children, Sheri, Nathan, Samantha, and Rylee.
