NCAA Division III Championships at Northfield, Minnesota (November 23)
Lawrence's Valerie Curtis placed 73rd in the field of 215 on the 6,000-meter course at St. Olaf College. Curtis completed the course in 23 minutes, 1.3 seconds.

NCAA Division III Midwest Regional Championships at Peoria, Illinois (November 16)
Lawrence's Valerie Curtis qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships after finishing eighth at the regional meet. Curtis completed the 6,000-meter course in 22 minutes, 1.33 seconds, and was one of three runners from the Midwest Conference to qualify for nationals.

The Lawrence women finished 19th among the 34 teams with 548 points. Also scoring for Lawrence were: Rachel Lucas (109th, 24:10.11), Kelly Scheer (114th, 24:18.23), Shelley Ebert (126th, 24:33.81), and Jamie Marincic (192nd, 26:51.38).

Paul Schonfeld led the men's contingent, which did not field a full team, by finishing 126th in 27:36.22 in the 8,000-meter race. Dan Harvey was 199th (29:28.96), Peter Navis was 208th (29:51.43), and Steve Hahn was 213th (30:06.95).

Midwest Conference Championships at Green Bay, Wisconsin (November 2)
The Lawrence women, the defending Midwest Conference champions, finished fourth in the team standings with 106 points. St. Norbert won the title with 54 points. Valerie Curtis paced Lawrence by finishing third in 18 minutes, 55 seconds, and earned all-conference honors for the third consecutive season. Rachel Lucas took 13th for the Vikings in 19:56, Kelly Scheer was 20th in 20:29, Shelley Ebert was 27th in 20:54, Alexis Sexton took 43rd in 21:56, Carolynn Dude was 46th in 22:04, and Jamie Marincic was 51st in 22:19.

The Lawrence men were ninth with 213 points, and Grinnell won the title with 24. Paul Schonfeld led Lawrence by finishing 12th in 27:10 and earned all-conference honors in the process. Dan Harvey was 43rd in 29:11, Peter Navis took 48th in 29:33, Jamie Howard was 54th in 30:05, and Steve Hahn was 56th in 30:26.

Lawrence University Invitational at Appleton, Wisconsin (October 26)
Lawrence's Valerie Curtis won the race for the Vikings, who finished second in the six-team invitational. Curtis won the race in 33 minutes, 51 seconds, and St. Norbert's Julie Deyo was second in 35:57. St. Norbert won the team title with 23 points, and Lawrence was second with 56.

Kelly Scheer took eighth for Lawrence in 37:58, Shelley Ebert was 14th in 38:36, Alexis Sexton was 16th in 39:40, Carolynn Dude was 17th in 39:48, and Allie Dietsche was 18th in 40:25.

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville won the men's crown with 23 points, and Lawrence was fourth among the seven teams with 108 points.

Paul Schonfeld paced the Vikings by taking fourth in 29:03. Peter Navis placed 22nd for the Vikings in 30:56, Dan Harvey was 23rd in 31:00, Steve Hahn was 28th in 32:15, and Jamie Howard took 31st in 33:14.

Wisconsin Private College Championships at Waukesha, Wisconsin (October 19)
The Lawrence women placed fifth among the 13 teams with a team score of 153. St. Norbert College won the title with 54 points.

Valerie Curtis led the Lawrence women by placing third in 19 minutes, 30 seconds. Shelley Ebert grabbed 19th in 20:55, Kelly Scheer was 32nd in 21:28, Alexis Sexton was 60th in 22:35, and Carolynn Dude was 65th in 22:49.

The Lawrence men were tenth among the 13 teams with 233 points. Ripon College won the title with 76 points.

Paul Schonfeld led Lawrence by taking sixth in 27:51. Rounding out the scoring for Lawrence were: Dan Harvey (49th, 30:04), Peter Navis (63rd, 30:39), Steve Hahn (76th, 31:17), and Jamie Howard (78th, 31:20).

University of Wisconsin-Platteville Invitational (October 5)
The Lawrence women finished third in the six-team field with 86 points. The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh won the meet with 22 points. Valerie Curtis led Lawrence by placing second with 24 minutes, 37 seconds, and Rachel Lucas was seventh in 25:22. Shelley Ebert took 18th in 27:11, Katie Kraemer was 28th in 28:29, and Alexis Sexton was 31st in 29:12.

On the men's side, the Vikings finished last in the eight-team meet with 217 points. UW-La Crosse won the meet with 29 points. Paul Schonfeld led Lawrence by placing 27th in 28:46. Rounding out the scoring for Lawrence were: Dan Harvey (43rd, 30:31), Peter Navis (47th, 32:08), Steve Hahn (48th, 32:30), and Jamie Howard (72nd, 32:56).

Beloit College Old English Classic (September 28)
The Lawrence women finished eighth among the 19 teams with 207 points, and Illinois Wesleyan won the title with 65 points. Valerie Curtis paced Lawrence by finishing fifth in 20 minutes, 9 seconds. Rachel Lucas grabbed 12th place in 20:44. Rounding out the scoring for Lawrence were: Shelley Ebert (49th, 22:24), Carolynn Dude (69th, 23:31), and Alexis Sexton (72nd, 23:57).

Paul Schonfeld led the Lawrence men, who were 15th among the 23 teams with 421 points. The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point won the title with 58 points. Schonfeld took 14th in 28:07, Zach Erickson was 88th in 30:28, Jamie Howard was 102nd in 31:36, Peter Navis was 107th in 31:54, and Steve Hahn was 110th in 32:28.

Midwest Collegiate Cross Country Meet at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside (September 21)
The Lawrence women were 20th among the 34 teams, and the Lawrence men fielded an incomplete team. Northern Michigan won the women's title, and UW-Oshkosh took the men's crown.

Valerie Curtis was the top runner for Lawrence, taking 48th in 19 minutes, 51 seconds. Rachel Lucas was 71st in 20:27, Alexis Sexton took 153rd in 23:46, Carolynn Dude was 156th in 23:56, Jamie Marincici was 165th in 24:22, Katie Kraemer was 169th in 24:24, and Kate Strasser was 172nd in 24:41.

Paul Schonfeld led the Lawrence men by placing 163rd in 29:04, Peter Navis was 313th in 32:48, and Jamie Howard was 314th in 32:52.

University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Invitational (September 13)
The Lawrence men and women finished last among the six teams. UW-Parkside won the women's event, and UW-Oshkosh took the men's title.

Valerie Curtis led Lawrence by taking 15th in 19 minutes, 16 seconds. Rachel Lucas placed 37th in 20:31, Kelly Scheer was 38th in 20:46, Shelley Ebert was 39th in 21:05, Alissa Merczer was 40th in 22:38, Carolynn Dude was 41st in 23:02, and Jamie Marincic was 42nd in 23:11.

Paul Schonfeld paced the Lawrence men by taking 36th in 28:33. Peter Navis was 37th in 30:20, Steven Hahn was 38th in 31:05, Jamie Howard took 39th in 33:13, Rob Westerholm was 40th in 33:25, and Zach Erickson was 41st in 36:40.

St. Norbert College Invitational (September 7)
The Lawrence women placed fifth with 124 points, and the University of Wisconsin-Stout won the title with 77 points. Valerie Curtis led Lawrence by placing fourth in 19 minutes, 44 seconds, and Kelly Scheer was tenth for the Vikings in 20:37. Also competing for the Vikings were: Shelley Ebert (18th, 21:13), Rachel Lucas (24th, 21:19), Jamie Marincic (68th, 23:37), Carolynn Dude (72nd, 24:11), and Allie Dietsche (76th, 24:42).

The Lawrence men finished 14th with 341 points. UW-Parkside won the meet with 33 points. Paul Schonfeld led Lawrence by placing 14th in 22:57. The other finishers for Lawrence were: Steve Hahn (57th, 25:00), Peter Navis (78th, 27:12) and Zach Erickson (94th, 30:33).

Michigan Tech Invitational (August 31)
Valerie Curtis led Lawrence by placing 16th in the women's 5,000-meter race in 20:35.03. Also competing for Lawrence were: Kelly Scheer (30th, 21:59.93), Rachel Lucas (31st, 22:07.39), Shelley Ebert (38th, 24:18.77), Jamie Marincic (39th, 25:06.74), Carolynn Dude (40th, 26:09.87), and April Evans (42nd, 27:14.12). Lawrence finished with 72 points.

Paul Schonfeld led the Viking men by taking 13th in 37:13.42 in the 10,000-meter race. Steve Hahn was 29th in 42:03.76 and Peter Navis was 31st in 45:50.78.
