Description: This course centers Indigeneity by exploring how we may practice and enact decolonization at institutions through ethnographic analyses and studying talk and symbolic practice. We will equip students with the skills to identify and assess how colonialism currently affects them today in an effort to create innovation around systemic structural change. Using an interdisciplinary lens students will investigate the topic through music, art, literature, and ethnographic research.
