Call to Order
Weinberg-Kinsey called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m.

Introductions
We greeted one another warmly.

Define Scope and Perspective of Mission
Weinberg-Kinsey discussed issues related to our mission: to provide some leadership with regards to "strategic issues related to the association's use of technology." 

Describe status of current technology utilization
Strand reported on the current state of technology utilization at WLA:
Including 3PC's [2Pentium & 1-486; no network; Lantastik file-sharing; later printers, new digital copier; Internet access through SCLS; DOS based Database product; E-Mail & Listserv through SCLS; Website at Eastern Shores; E-Newsletters. Strand also provided a copy of the recently updated strategic plan and reviewed directions with the committee. The committee asked a number of questions especially concerning the current organizational database product, office networking, technical support, and possible examples of other exemplary non-profit associations that are planning for emerging technologies.

List known emerging technologies with possible impact (aka: "what's out there that's cool")
