1 egg white

1 tsp. cold water

1 lb. pecans

½ cup sugar

¼ tsp salt

½ tsp. cinnamon

pinch of cloves and ground nutmeg

 

Add water to egg whites.   Beat until frothy—not stiff.  Coat nuts with egg white mixture.  Stir in sugar, salt and spices.  Place on buttered pan.  Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour.  Turn every 15 min.
