Who we are and what we do

Tropos is Lawrence University’s student published literary and arts magazine.  We publish original works of poetry, prose and art of students in the Lawrence community.  Our magazine is distributed free of charge to students, faculty and staff who preorder a copy.  Submissions to the magazine are reviewed anonymously by a student Review Board and the creators of the pieces judged the best in each category, poetry, prose and art, receive recognition and a cash prize.

Having been a bit disorganized in the past few years, we are trying to bring Tropos back to the attention of the Lawrence community.  Be sure look for our Open Mic Nights in the Underground Coffee House!
