Quiz two will cover chapters 10-12

Basics of CSS you should know

In addition to the properties listed below, you should be familiar with the basic features of CSS. This includes

• The basic structure of a CSS rule: selector followed by declaration, declaration consists of a list of properties and their values
• How to write basic selectors, such as selectors that target one or more element types and selectors that target a class
• How to embed CSS rules in a page with a <style> element, and how to link a file of CSS rules into a file with a <link> element

I will ask two types of questions: in the first style of question I will show you some CSS code and ask you what it does and in the second style of question I will ask you to write some CSS code.

One type of question in particular that you should be prepared to answer will ask you to set up a CSS class and then use it in an HTML element.
