Wisconsin Private College Championships at Carthage College (February 2, 2008)

Hayley Vatch broke a pair of meet records to pace the Vikings to a second-place finish in the team standings. Vatch won the 500 freestyle in a record time of 5:18.73 and broke the record on her way to winning the 1,650 freestyle in 18:24.62. She also placed second in the 200 freestyle (2:03.66). Other top finishers for the women were: Mandy Schlais (second, 100 butterfly, 1:03.60; second, 200 butterfly, 2:23.26), Rebecca Hamlyn (third, 100 butterfly, 1:04.57), Kelsey Gray, third, 1,650 freestyle, 19:23.32), 200 medley relay (third, 2:04.37), and the 800 freestyle relay (second, 8:42.52). Matt Yauch paced the men by placing second in the 200 breaststroke in 2:24.88. Posting third-place finishes were Nick Johnson (200 breaststroke, 2:24.91) and Kyle Griffin (1,650 freestyle, 17:42.37). The men's 800 freestyle relay team also took second (8:07.13).

Lawrence University Invitational (January 26, 2008)

The Lawrence women took the team title, and the men finished second. Rececca Hamlyn led the Vikings by winning three events. She took the 200 IM (2:24.73), the 100 butterfly (1:01.19), and the 100 backstroke (1:06.86). Hayley Vatch won both the 500 freestyle (5:25.00) and the 1,000 freestyle (10:59.67). The women also won three relays, the 200 medley (2:01.54), the 200 freestyle (1:52.44), and the 400 freestyle (3:58.52). On the men's side, Bryan Rosen won the 1-meter diving with a score of 317.15.

Univeristy of Chicago Invitational (January 18-19, 2008)

Hayley Vatch broke the school record in the 1,650-yard freestyle and won the event with a time of 18:16.17. Vatch, who broke the 1995 record of 18:18.60 set by Rachel Cohen, also took second in the 500 freestyle (5:23.68) and second in the 200 freestyle (2:03.93). Marissa Vallette was second in 1-meter diving (344.70) and second on the 3-meter board (303.00). Other top finishes for the women were: Rebecca Hamlyn (third, 200 IM, 2:22.94) and the 400 medley relay team (third, 4:15.80). The top finisher for the men was Nick Johnson, who took fourth in the 100 breaststroke in 1:03.55.

UW-Oshkosh Invitational (November 30-December 1, 2007)

Rebecca Hamlyn paced the Lawrence women, who finished fourth, with a first-place finish in the 200 butterfly (2:23.59) and a second place in the 100 backstroke (1:05.61). Hayley Vatch won the 1,000 freestyle (11:14.42) and Kelsey Gray was second (11:40.76). Mandy Schlais grabbed second in the 200 butterfly in 2:28.35. Nick Johnson led the men, who also finished fourth, with a win in the 100 breaststroke in 1:03.63 and a third place in the 200 freestyle in 1:37.35. Kevin Gabrielson grabbed third in the 3-meter diving (353.90), and the 400 medley relay team took third (4:04.71).

Midwest Conference North Division Relays at Lawrence University (November 17, 2007)

It was domination for Lawrence, as the Vikings won every event in the women's meet and won all but two events on the men's side.

Lawrence University at UW-River Falls (November 10, 2007)

Lawrence swept the dual meet from the Falcons. The Lawrence women won 128-93, and the men won 124-93. Multiple event winners for the Vikings were: Taylor Brengel (100-yard backstroke, 100 freestyle), Nick Johnson (100 breaststroke, 200 IM), Kyle Griffin (500 freestyle, 1,000 freestyle), Hayley Vatch (500 freestyle, 1,000 freestyle), Julia Ziege (100 backstroke, 200 freestyle), and Rebecca Hamlyn (100 butterfly, 200 IM).

St. Norbert College Sprint Meet at Lawrence University (October 28, 2006)

Lawrence finished third in the team standings for both the men and women. Winners for the men were: 200-yard medley relay (Taylor Brengel, Nick Johnson, Brett Cox, Pat McCrory) in 1:43.17 and the 100 medley relay (Brengel, Johnson, Cox, McCrory) in 48.18 seconds. Lawrence did not win an event on the women's side, but the Vikings did have a host of second-place finishes. Taking second for the Lawrence women were: 200 medley relay (Mollie Bodin, Julia Ziege, Rebecca Hamlyn, Anna Zuke) in 1:58.61, the 100 freestyle relay (Bodin, zuke, Chrissie Nelson, Mandy Schlais) in 49.73, the 500 freestyle crescendo relay (Kelsey Grey, Hamlyn, Ziege, Hayley Vatch) in 5:06.15, the 100 medley relay (Hamlyn, Schlais, Ziege, Zuke) in 56.09, and Hamlyn in the 50 butterfly in 29.00 seconds.
